foot stool makeover

These stools were handed down to my husband before we started dating - and who knows how long before that!  They are beautiful, sturdy wood - but weren't much to look at.  I wanted to brighten them up a bit so use as a bench underneath the window of our upstairs hallway.  

I used rustoleum glossy enamel paint ($8.47) and picked up a yard and half of fabric from our local wal mart ($3.97)... And considering I only used about 1/4 can of paint, this project was super cheap! 

I was able to simply staple the fabric to the underside of the stools, which was perfect since I am not much of a seamstress!  All in all, I'm super happy with how they came out - and they will definitely be put to good use! xoxo
